Here are some recommended courses that are considered as immigrating professions, have a look and see what suits you the most!
Nursing
As we all know demand for nurses is far exceeding supply in Australia. Applying for immigration through skill stream with the nurse occupation will provide you a high chance of success. Graduate entry for nursing is for everyone, even students who had no experience relating to the subject.
• Queensland University of Technology (QUT) – Bachelor of Nursing (Graduate Entry)
Course duration: 2 years
Semester start: February or July
Entry Requirement: An approved bachelor degree (Non-nursing degree) with a GPA of 4 or above.
• Flinders University – Bachelor of Nursing (Graduate Entry)
Course duration: 2 years
Admission time: 3 months
Entry Requirement: An approved bachelor degree (Non-nursing degree) with a GPA of 4 or above, and have completed to units relating Anthropobiology, Human Anatomy, and Physiology.
• Monash University – Master of Nursing Practice
Course duration: 2 years
Semester start: February or July
Entry Requirement: An approved bachelor degree (Non-nursing degree) with a GPA of 4.5 or above,
and have completed one unit of Human Anatomy or Physiology.
If you have not done any Human Anatomy study previously, you may apply for the Human biology short course as a bridging course before enrolling in the Master of Nursing Practice!
Social Work
Social worker is another occupation that is in high demand, Social Work masters require students to have a relative background of study. Some institutions provide Grad cert courses for students who did not take any relative courses. Once they finish a Grad cert course, they can enroll in the Master of Social Work
• Flinders University – Master of Social Work (Graduate Entry)

Entry Requirement: Any approved bachelor degree (Except for Social work) and graduated with a GPA of 4.5 or above. Also, you have completed a year of social work-related courses (e.g. education, psychology, law, accounting, economics, business, sociology, etc.).
• University of South Australia – Master of Social Work
Course duration: 2 years
Semester start: February
Entry Requirement: Any approved social work-related bachelor degree (including sociology, psychology, public health, etc.) and graduated with GPA4.5 or above.
• Flinders University – Master of Social Work (Graduate Entry)
Course duration: 2 years
Semester start: March or July
Entry Requirement: Any approved bachelor degree (Except for Social work) and graduated with a GPA of 4.5 or above. Also, you have completed a year of social work-related courses (e.g. education, psychology, law, accounting, economics, business, sociology, etc.).

Education (Early childhood/ Secondary)
Early childhood education and secondary school teacher are popular professions for immigration, as the entry requirement is easy!
• Flinders University – Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)

Entry Requirement: Any approved bachelor degree and graduated with a GPA of 4 or above.

Course duration: 2 years

Entry Requirement: Any approved bachelor degree and graduated with a GPA of 4 or above. Also, you have completed a curtained units of secondary school subjects (e.g. accounting, biology, business, IT, physics, chemistry, mathematics, psychology, music, multi-languages such as Japanese, French, or Spanish, etc.).
• The University of Adelaide – Master of Teaching (Middle and Secondary)
Course duration: 2 years
Semester start: January or July
Entry Requirement: Any approved bachelor degree and graduated with a GPA of 4 or above. Also, you have completed a curtained units of secondary school subjects (e.g. accounting, biology, business, IT, physics, chemistry, mathematics, psychology, music, multi-languages such as Japanese, French, or Spanish, etc.).
Occupational Therapy
You don’t need an OT-related background of study to enroll in the master course!
• The University of Sydney – Master of Occupational Therapy
Course duration: 2 years

Entry Requirement: Any approved bachelor degree and graduated with a GPA of 4 or above.
Quantity Surveying
There are only three universities in Australia that provide recognised Quantity Surveying master courses. Bond University, it is located in Gold Coast, you can gain points for studying in remote area!
• Bond University – Master of Construction Practice (Professional)
Course duration: 1.7 year
Semester start: January, May, or September
Entry Requirement: Any approved bachelor degree and graduated with a GPA of 4 or above.
