Architecture is a studies that combined art, architect history, physics, technology, structural science, urban planning and so on. Since architect’s work affects the everyday life of the public, the entry requirements are relatively higher than other industries. AAS would like to tell you more about the duties of an architect, its career prospects and related programs.
Responsibilities of an architect:
- Designing by both hand and computer-aided design applications.
- Examining and explaining the project feasibility with clients and builders, including law, urban planning, environmental factors and etc.
- Drafting and presenting reports, proposals, contracts or other legal documents.
- Observing around the building site to tackle with various obstacles by coordinating with different departments
To be a registered architect in Australia, you will need to complete a five-year higher education program in architecture, obtain at least two years’ experience working in the industry, pass the Architectural Practice Examination.
