Skilled Independent Visa is for invited applicants and eligible Hong Kong or BNO passport holders to live and work permanently in Australia.
Points Tested Stream
Requirement：
- Occupation is on the skilled occupation list (Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List)
- Have a suitable skills assessment
- Age under 45
- Competent English level (eg at least 6.0 for each part in IELTS)
- Meet the Health and Character requirements
- Scored 65 points or more
- Submitted EOI（Expression of interest), and be invited
Hong Kong Stream
Requirement：
- Hong Kong Passport or British National (Overseas) Passport holders
- Holder of 457 / 482 / 485 visa, and have complied with the conditions
- Continuously live in Australia for at least 4 years.
- English requirement: completed a course in Australia for at least 2 years, or IELTS 4.5 (at least 4.0 for each part)
- Meet the Health and character requirement
